BABY meets Vegas!!
On our way to Cali we stopped in Vegas to see all of our wonderful friends and introduce them to Ari! We were invited to stay at Alises house and my kids were THRILLED to see her 5 kids! While there for 3 days we saw nearly EVERYONE we wanted to see!! It was a whirlwind trip with a 2 month old, but we all did just fine!!
This is how we roll! Mikas and Madeline are such good travelers, they are just used to long car rides and do fine! MOST DAYS I would RATHER have them strapped in their carseats on a road trip than in the house! AND baby Ari adapted to the car JUST as well! This WAS his second road trip afterall! He slept 2-3 hours at a time so when he did wake up it was perfect timing to stop at Mc D's for a run around!
First visit was with some moms from Summerlin! Rebecca Alleman hosted a lunch to come meet Ari! Sarah and Jen Johnson came along with their kiddos Kenyan and Ben! It was SOOO good to see my Summerlin Mommy friends..sooo good!
On Monday night the Houts came over to see us and meet baby Ari! ONCE AGAIN it was ooo soo good to see friends and familuar faces. Heather is such a great mom and Brittin used to come over and play with the kids when I was on bed rest with Ari. Brittin is such a fun loving girl, she and Madeline fell in love immediately..and obviously picked RIGHT UP where they left off!
Then it was off to meet up with my Vegas Moms group Mommy friends! We met up at Melissas new house and let the kids play AND fight over toys! Adonis and Mikas play/fought over the helicopter in the pic! lol Shauna is pregnant with #2 and we are soo excited to meet her new little baby! SOO good to see these mommys that I spent time with in Vegas!
That night we went to see our friends Kate and Jamie! A last minute Mc D's run to pick up food and we all got to eat dinner together! I love my English friend Kate and how easy our friendship is. She TOO is pregnant with #2 and we cant wait to meet her!
And a trip to "the Grandma and the Grandpa's" house made the trip complete! Fran and Lionel were our neighbors in Summerlin. Madeline and Mikas IMMEDIATELY took to them and called them Grandma and Grandpa! (I later realized it was a term they call people with grey hair lol) It was a PERFECT match because Fran and Lionel had grand children, but they all lived in California.. the DEFINATELY had room in their hearts for "extra grandkids". When they saw them, hugs were all around as they were sooo excited to see them! I was pregnant most of the time we lived in Vegas so they were thrilled to meet Ari..such great folks!
I LOVE the great friends we made in Summerlin, we were so blessed to be surrounded by such warm, loving, inviting people. Cant wait to go back and visit again!

So nice to see what a family you had made there! I know you don't like living away from Vista, but you clearly have skilz at settling in within a new community.
