Sometimes, when your sister comes to town, with her 9 month old, to help you with your 3, 2, and 1 month old..you decide to make strawberry jam..from scratch.
Here we are, in the assembly line, getting ready to teach kids how to make jam..
(and learn ourselves!)
OF COURSE it makes sense to be stirring strawberry jam with a infant on your hip..We called in the calvery, and thought with 3 women, and 4 children,
making jam would be no problem..
but we forgot Mikas was MIKAS...
We put him in the production line, mixing the strawberries with the sugar..he was sooo happy to get a big wooden spoon, and soo much responcibility! I was thrilled that my 2 little helpers could ACTUALLY help me!! I was feeling VERY "Julie Isa" until I heard Mikas cry and wimper that he needed his hands washed..Washed? Hmmm, why? I thought, until I looked closer...
He had decided that the jam needed something special, it was missing something...
and then he figured out what it was..it was missing
AIRPLANES AND HELICOPTERS!
But ofcourse!
