One day, out of desperation, Nanny Stella took Madeline and Mikas on a car ride, and AMAZINGLY ENOUGH happened upon a DUCK POND!! That began the days of going to the duck pond..we even went so far as buying wild duck food from Petco because it was our evening outing! IT WAS our FAVORITE OUTING!!

THIS day, we happened upon a MOMMY DUCK and her ducklings!! They were sooo cute and fluffy! What a GREAT place to be born!! WE ALL wanted to hold a duckling!!
This group of pics are SPECIFICALLY taken to make Daddy a nervous wreck!!
He was ALWAYS afraid if they got REMOTELY CLOSE they would fall in! I would always say "fall in and...??" The pond was only about 2 1/2 ft deep! SO, these pics are PROOF that our kids are not only animal lovers, but have common sense as well!!
NO ONE ever fell in, in the 3 weeks that we went!!
