A long time ago, about 38 years ago, my mother received the sweetest baby outfits as a baby shower gift. The brand was Petit Bateau. The gift, given by my Yaya's best friend "Thea Alex" was a pink and a blue stripe outfit for "THE" baby she was carrying. HOWEVER, when my SISTERS were born, 2 girls and not 1 boy the cutest outfits were never worn!
When I found out I was having a boy I was THRILLED to get to "dust off" the precious newborn outfit that my mother had kept in a cedar chest for so long and put it on Mikas as his "Homecoming Outfit".
I still look at that outfit and sigh..it is sooo perfect.
Mikas' Sweet New Baby Outfit!
Well, when it was time to buy/find a new outfit for New baby, I was in a bind. I LOVE the Petit Bateau outfit that Mikas wore home, however I wanted to be able to hand down MIKAS' outfit to HIS wife for their children.
Sophia came to the rescue. She wanted to find the perfect outfit for New Baby, and she did. With the help of Jordana, BOTH Aunties pitched in and now New Baby has Petit Bateau as well. I am just THRILLED and cant wait to see New Baby in HIS very own special "Coming Home" outfit!
