The 4th of July!

Reed and I have always LOVED the 4th of July. It is REALLY our anniversary, as we first started hanging out and started "Officially Dating" ON the 4th of July!

SO, on this day, we couldnt just hang out, and clean out the garage, we HAD to have plans and luckily the new folks we met in Klamath Falls invited us to the OFFICIAL 4th of July party at Kathy Browns House!! Her house is on a little hill and overlooks the lake that they do the fireworks over! The funny thing is that you cant throw a stone without hitting a lake here, and OUR house overlooks a lake but not THE lake that they shoot the fireworks over! SO, luckily we KNEW the Browns and had the best seat in the house!

As it got dark, we grabbed a picture of all of us! This was NOT easy since every kid in the group was running around with glow necklaces and eating cupcakes, candy and drinking soda!!

As we settled into our seats to watch fireworks, Mikas wanted to snuggle! THIS is totally unusual since he HATES to be rocked to sleep, wont sit on your lap (unless hurt) and is USUALLY on the run! Well, minutes into him sittin on my lap, he cuddled under the blankets and FELL ASLEEP!! He slept thru the ENTIRE FIREWORKS SHOW!! I gotta say I LOVED the cuddly little guy in my lap as I almost NEVER get to cuddle him "like a baby" :o)

If you notice, in the above pic, Madeline is missing! Its because she had made friends with "All the girls" and "Needed to be with her friends"! If you look closely they are all about 12-14 yrs old!! THEY LOVED HER, and having a little friend with them, so even tho we wanted her to be with us, we let her go "Be with her friends" which I am sure will be the first of many times!
